Your car's electrical system includes your battery, starter and alternator. These components help start your car's engine and keep it running. If one of these parts is not working right, your car won't start, or run properly. It's that simple. Our electrical system check can pinpoint problems and provide all the services you might require to help keep your vehicle on the go. We want to find problems and fix them before they put your car on the side of the road.
Your vehicle's battery is considered the heart of its electrical system. Your battery converts chemical energy into electrical energy to make your car run. The battery provides energy to start your car, and also helps stabilize voltage to keep your engine running. When your battery's juice is low or its cables or terminals are loose, your car won't start. The bad news: your car generally gives very few discernable warning signs before it fails. The good news is that Dennis Quick Auto can test your vehicle's electrical system to determine if your battery is okay or about to cause problems..
In most cases, your vehicle gives you very few warning signs that electrical system components may be near the end of their life cycle. Here is a list of some signs that your vehicle's electrical system may not be functioning properly:

No crank or slow crank when you turn the ignition key
An electrical system dashboard warning light (usually a battery) that remains on when driving
Loss of power in accessories or erratic electrical system functionality
Blown fuses

Here at Dennis Quick Auto we provide the highest quality Interstate batteries to keep the heart of your vehicle electrical system functioning at its very best.

INTERSTATE BATTERIES HAS A BATTERY TO FIT EVERY NEED THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE!!

HOW HAVE WE ENHANCED OUR BATTERIES??

There have been multiple enhancements to the Interstate product to achieve the best performance and service life in the industry.

    • Positive– The ‘Powerframe’ positive is a recent enhancement which is a new process of manufacturing that insures all of the plates are within the tightest variation. This enhancement helps to ensure that minimum deviation in the positive grid and ultimately, the plate design makes the entire battery the most consistent to date.
    • Negative plate – The negative plate has been enhanced over the past few years to reduce the effects of internal heat within the battery. Battery heat has increased tremendously, due to increased under hood temperatures, and the negative plate chemical paste material has been specifically designed to counter the reduced life that the damaging heat causes.
    • Electrolyte – An addition of an electrolyte chemical allows the battery to take on the damaging discharges (leaving the interior or exterior lights on and severely draining the battery). This chemical additive allows the battery to accept an effective recharge after a severe discharge.

There are some things that you can do to extend the life of your battery. First, keep it clean. If you see it getting dirty or greasy, let us know and we can clean it off. A dirty battery runs hotter and that shortens its life. If your battery terminals are corroded, let us take a look at that too. We can clean them, and if the corrosion has gotten into the battery cables, we can replace them.
Also running your battery way down is bad for it: Things like running the headlights or watching a DVD player with the car turned off can deeply deplete your battery. The typical battery can only take about 10 of those deep cycle depletions before it gives up the ghost. Call 325-573-2624!
